The “official” cozy genre of game has only become a thing in the last few years or so, to the point that you actually hear it used in industry presentations and whatnot. However, games with cozy vibes have existed as far back as the early days, whether they’re more in line with the current cozy paradigm or are a milder take on an established game paradigm.
