I try not to make a habit of fostering grudges. It’s not a healthy way to live, even if it is admittedly really fun to revel in your hatred for someone or something. Of course, there’s a difference between reveling and motivating. Hatred, vengeance, spite; these all make pretty excellent motivators. Heck, I’ve heard more than a few people say the key to success in life is to hate life so much, you succeed just to get back at it.
