After you defeat Moss Mother and ascend to new areas of the map, Silksong really starts to open up, and allows you to explore new areas like The Marrow, Mosshome, and more. However, getting around purely on foot can be a bit of a pain. After all, in the original game, you had Stag Beetles to rely on.
